COVID-19 Changes to Church

Below are some changes to expect as you return to church in the coming weeks. We hope these policies and safety measures make you feel comfortable and confident in the safety of our church's gatherings. If you have any questions regarding these new practices, please email us or call the church office at (408) 295-3605.

10:00 AM - 11:00 AM ... Small Group Bible Studies

    11:15 AM - 12:15 PM ... Worship Service

  • pre-register to save your seat

The Santa Clara County Health Dept. requires an attendance record of all gatherings. So to speed up the check-in process of Sunday morning attendees, we ask that you register every week for every worship service and small group you would like to attend. (This also helps our volunteers arrange seating in the small groups, children's classrooms, and worship service overflow. Thank you!)

    REGISTER NOW for:

    10:00 AM Small Groups

    11:15 AM Worship Service & Children's Classes

  • Face Masks Required

All staff and attendees (ages 2+) will be required to wear face masks. Only individuals who are seated outdoors six feet apart may remove their masks while they remain seated. If you forget to bring a mask with you, we will provide one for you. We have adult and child sizes available.

  • ONE MAIN Entrance

Initially, all attendees must enter onto the church property through the gate by the parking lot. All other doors and gates will remain closed (including the sanctuary doors leading to Minnesota Avenue) so that our Welcome Team doesn't miss any attendees during check-in.

  • Check-In process

Upon arrival, our church greeters will welcome you and check that you have registered. They'll also ask you to confirm that you are not experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms and haven't been in contact with someone tested positive with COVID-19 during the past two weeks. PromiseLand children will also receive temperature checks before attending their classes. Anyone with a temperature at or above 100°F will be asked to return home.

  • Social Distancing

All attendees must use hand sanitizer upon entering and exiting the premises and practice 6-feet social distancing at all times. Seating in the sanctuary and classrooms are arranged to accommodate appropriate social distancing.

Additional seating for the Worship Service is also available in the sanctuary overflow area (in the fellowship hall) for those who would like to sit next to open windows.

  • PromiseLand Kids

PromiseLand's Nursery, KinderClass, and Big Kids classes are in full swing during the 11:15-12:15 Worship Service hour. (At this time, no children's classes or childcare is available during the 10:00 Small Group hour.)

Learn how we're keeping our classrooms safe for all our families!

  • no food or drinks indoors

Initially, coffee and refreshments will not be provided before nor after service. You may bring your own beverage or snack to church, but these must be enjoyed outdoors. Then please remember to use hand sanitizer immediately afterwards!

  • Cleaned and Sanitized

All meeting areas and restrooms are thoroughly cleaned every week using Lysol and Purerox™ disinfectants to sanitize all surfaces. Small group attendees will have access to the restrooms located in the Fellowship Hall, and worship service attendees  can use the restrooms in the PromiseLand wing. The overflow area will also be sanitized in-between the small group and worship hours if necessary (based on pre-registrations).

  • When to Stay Home

If you are not feeling well or if you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, please stay home. We encourage you to use the online Church @ Home resources which we will continue to update with new content.
